An advanced training programme for dancers in Oxfordshire aged 10 - 18 specialising in contemporary dance techniques and creative practice. Weekly classes include: Release, Floor Work, Improvisation, and Cunningham based techniques.

This programme is designed to establish a technical foundation in contemporary dance. Providing you with the essential skills to take the next step in your journey as a dance artist. 


Led by professional dance artists currently working in the contemporary dance industry, with guest workshops from leading choreographers and dancers from the dance world. 


Not only will you work on the development of your individual physical technique, you will also be mentored in audition techniques, partner work and creative practices. 


The beautiful thing about contemporary dance is that it is always evolving, you will be able to grow and evolve your artistry in such an exciting dance style.

Dates: Sundays, April 21st - July 28th

(Half Term May 26th and June 2nd)

Times: 10:00- 12:00 for ages 10-12 years old

10:00 - 14:00 for ages 12-18 years old

Venue: Arts at The Old Fire Station, 40 George Street, Oxford, OX1 2AQ.

Uniform: Clothes you feel comfortable moving in.

What to Bring: A positive energy, a healthy lunch and LOTS of water!

Fees: £220.00 per term for ages 12-18 years old

£110.00 per term for ages 10-12 years old)

(Discounts available for Siblings and Low Income Families,

Payable in instalments. Scholarship Places are also available.)
