This programme is designed to establish a technical foundation in contemporary dance. Providing you with the essential skills to take the next step in your journey as a dance artist.
Learn
Led by professional dance artists currently working in the contemporary dance industry, with guest workshops from leading choreographers and dancers from the dance world.

Not only will you work on the development of your individual physical technique, you will also be mentored in audition techniques, partner work and creative practices.

Meet Our Teachers
Our regular teachers will run the weekly sessions delivering a range of classes in their specialist styles.
Thomas
Thomas is the Artists Director of TPD and will be one of the regular teachers on The Training Programme. Working with Thomas you will be exploring Release based floor work and task based improvisation (free movement). Thomas is currently an Associate Artist of Swindon Dance and Guest Practitioner at Pegasus Theatre.
April
April is a freelance dance artist and Pilates instructor. Bringing together their knowledge of Pilates and Tai Chi, April will be exploring a Release based style of movement. April trained first with a Foundation in Dance at the Institute of Arts Barcelona followed by a Ba(Hons) in Contemporary Dance at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
Llewelyn
Llewelyn is a freelance dance artists and current company member of TPD. Bridging the gap between Classical techniques and Contemporary, Llewelyn will be working with you to explore Cunningham and Graham techniques. Llewelyn trained at Trinity Laban, before transferring to Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance where he completed his Ba(Hons) in Ballet and Contemporary Dance.
