Thomas Page - Artistic Director
Thomas Page is an emerging choreographer based in Oxford and London trained in contemporary dance at Laban. During their training Page performed in works by choreographers such as; Lizzi Kew-Ross, Naomi Lefebvre Sell, Zoi Dimitriou and Joss Arnott. Upon graduating Page was nominated by Tony Thatcher to be part of The Place's Open Borders Project 2019.
After creating 'C-A-G-E-D' (2016) , Page founded Thomas Page Dances, under the mentorship of dance artist James Pett. In 2017, Page began developing 'Normative?' as part of the FreeSpace Programme at Studio Wayne McGregor.
Pursuing their passion for teaching, Page launched TPD Young Artists and the company's Contemporary Dance Training Programme. Page is also working with Yoga Unlimited researching and developing an approach to movement, mindfulness and the energetic form.
Page's fondest performance credits include; 'O' Foul Descent' - April Gunawardena, 'Tides' - Joss Arnott, and 'Grandfathers' - Ellen Havard.
Before training as a contemporary dance artist Page trained as actor with mentors including Matthew Warburton, Joanna Higgins and Anna Pyle.
